ZP Connect, a communications company funded by the U.S. Federal Government, enables Deaf and hard-of-hearing consumers to conduct voice phone calls through an American Sign Language interpreter. Its video relay service lets users dial any 10-digit phone number in the U.S. and connect through video to an interpreter who places the call, and then relays the conversation.

ZP Connect also offers a video remote interpreting service that allows consumers, clinicians, and professionals to communicate seamlessly with the Deaf and hard-of-hearing in real time using sign language interpreters. Formerly known as Purple Communications, the company now operates under the ZP Connect name.
