As a Research Scientist in a cancer genomics clinical diagnostic laboratory, Justin led the development, validation, and automation of molecular assays, with a focus on translating complex laboratory processes into efficient, scalable workflows. His doctoral research centered on melanoma and novel therapeutic targets, giving him a foundation in oncology that goes well beyond systems configuration -- he understands the science the workflows are built to serve. That combination of bench experience and technology fluency informs his work across assay development, laboratory automation, and LIMS integration, always with a practical eye toward how systems perform in real-world lab environments.
Outside of work, Justin is working his way through every U.S. National Park, one hike with his family at a time.
